Not just a new arrival on Twisted Time's virtual shelves but GREYHOURS is a fresh new presence on the designer watch market. And they come with a goal in mind. It's their aim to design the ultimate wristwatch and to make it affordable to all.
Crafted through professional design for both style and functionality, what's really special about GREYHOURS is the materials used to strengthen and enhance its design. Though DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) coating has been used for years in the medical and automative industries, it is a relatively new process in watch-making, but that and and the use of IPH (Ion Plating Hardened) technology helps make GREYHOURS Essential collection of watches ultra-resistant to corrosion and scratching.
But who are GREYHOURS? They are a team of "visionaries" who have individually already established themselves as creative giants, a term we use purely metaphorically. Hailing from five different European nations (Swizterland, France, Italy, Belgium and Estonia) and drawing on experience and knowledge in fields such as architecture, fashion and internet entrepreneurship, they have pooled their wisdom into both the design of GREYHOURS Essential watches and the mission that propels them, namely to make good quality design affordable.
Between them they also have several cool claims to fame; Taavet Hinrikus can say he was Skype's first employee and Lorenzo Grifantini once worked alongside Zaha Hadid. You can read more about the already quite famous five people here.
