Projects Watch (Alex Garzon) - Lunaround

£110.00
While we are not certain that this Lunaround moon watch will help you forecast the tides or even the next Harvest Moon, we are certain that the Lunaround will move and rotate as does the actual moon!

The Lunaround Watch is a black IP stainless steel watch measuring 40mm in diameter. The red minute and second hands punctuate the "luna" or moon shaped hour hand that rotates one complete cycle every 12 hours not unlike its namesake. Within the center of the moon (hour hand), the hour digits can also be seen moving. Look carefully, because not only is the hour hand moving showing the hour numbers inside, but, the entire round "moon" is rotating as well.

5

Botta Watch - Duo 24 - Black/Green

£290.00
The first ever world timer based on the one-hand principle.

Our world may be growing together, but one border remains – time.

The DUO 24 allows this border to be easily overcome. A dual one-hand watch, it shows both the local time and the time at one additional time zone, using just one hand in each case.

This is the simple yet amazingly logical principle which the DUO 24 uses to give its wearer reassurance when dealing with different time zones.

The outlying main display shows the local time. Its striking 12-hour hand points to the same one-hand scale that has been used in the UNO for more than 25 years. The scale itself is mounted on a slightly inclined scale ring which guides the markings down to the lower-level 24-hour display.

The secondary display, which lies at a lower level in the dial, can show any second time zone the wearer chooses. Its delicate 24-hour hand and numbered scale are clearly distinct from the 12-hour main display.

What is more, an artificial horizon divides the inner 24-hour section into a day half and a night half, allowing the day half of the second time zone to be identified at a glance.

The DUO 24 is a dual one-hand watch for anyone who is at home in two worlds.

Projects Watch (Will-Harris) - 'Till - Black

£100.00
Till: the relationship between now and then.

The ‘Till Watch is a watch that "speaks" to you visually.

Telling time is about more than numbers–it’s about the relationship between now and then.

Till explores this relationship–so it’s not just 10:50, it’s “Ten Till Ten.” It’s not merely 12:30, it’s “Half past Twelve.”

Yet the words we use to tell time have never been reflected on a watch. In our digital age, this useful language is starting to disappear.

Digital watches change the way we view time–presenting it as linear rather than cyclical–distancing us from the very nature of time, which, like the earth’s trip around the sun, is repeated every day.

So don’t just read the time, tell it.

8

Rosendahl Watch - PICTO - White

£120.00
PICTO - a picture of time.

PICTO means picture, of course, so it is an excellent choice as the name of this watch. With its clean, minimalist graphic lines, PICTO represents a distinct picture of time in a way that no other watch does.
At the same time, its technical design is unique for a wristwatch.
The hour is indicated by a dot on the rotating dial, while the minutes are indicated by a conventional hand. PICTO is the first wristwatch created according to this rotating disk principle.

Junghans Watch - Max Bill - Chronoscape - White

£1,500.00
Max Bill was one of the most unusual artists of our time. Acknowledged as a universal genius, he worked as an architect, painter, sculptor and product designer and has left behind a extensive portfolio of creations. This includes one of the most fascinating watch series ever designed – the wall clocks and wristwatches he created for Junghans – and which remain practically unchanged today. As a Bauhaus student of Walter Gropius, he intuitively understood how to apply the pursuit of constructive clarity and precise proportions to his work. His unrivaled drive to create is also seen in the field of education. He was not only the co-founder and first rector of the Ulm College of Design, but the school building is also a Max Bill original design.

Considered by many as the "perfect watch" it features a self winding automatic chronoscape movement and premium calfskin strap.

15

Projects Watch (Ran Lerner) - Moon Crater

The minute and hour hands move across the dial and perfectly encircle the raised numerals several times each hour. Framing, if only for a moment, the preciousness of time.

Projects Watch (Fredi Brodmann) - Folly

£115.00
Inspired by art-deco design and aviation.

Brodmann’s inspiration from FOLLY comes from the "Art Deco" world as can be seen by his choice of deco hands, number fonts and colors. FOLLY is also inspired by Brodmann’s love of aviation as is witnessed by the red push button (frequently seen on aviator timepieces) and well-balanced sequence of numbers in the center; all contributing to making this a truly unique timepieces.

In architecture a Folly is a building constructed primarily for decoration, but either suggesting by its appearance some other purpose, or merely so extravagant that it transcends the normal range of garden ornaments or other class of building to which it belongs. In the original use of the word, these buildings had no other use, but from the 19th to 20th centuries the term was also applied to highly decorative buildings which had secondary practical functions such as housing, shelter or business use.

Normal Timepieces - Extra Normal - Gold Mesh

£140.00
At first glance, it is an elegant, minimal watch. But things are not so simple. A subtle effect is taking place as elusive numbers pass in and out of view. The hour ''hand'' is actually a disk, with the hand silhouette reversed out, exposing the numbered face beneath.
